BSU Celebrates Its Culture

by Izzy Magee

For the month of February, BSU celebrated Black History Month by throwing an assembly in Royce Hall. Fresno High’s BSU hosted this assembly to promote awareness of Black culture. This assembly was held during school hours and was filled with important information on black history, poems written by famous black icons, original music, and dances performed by students.

During this assembly, the audience learned about the history of Black culture, art and historical Black figures who fought for our future. There were special performances by the FHS Dance Club, Choir, Step Team, and other FHS clubs.
