By: Mariah Andersen-Price

Prom 2023 themed “The Bridgerton Ball” and held at Wolf Lakes on April 22, was a night to remember. Students and staff alike were dressed in their best attire, from luxurious gowns to simple dresses and suits, handfuls of students were dressed to fit the theme with gloves, parasols, tiaras, and tailcoats. Tickets were sold from before Spring Break till the week leading up to Prom. Prom, aka the Bridgerton Ball, was hosted by the Class of 2024. It was a night of fun, dancing, and music with games and a selfie table to take fantastic selfies or have your portrait painted digitally by the royal camera company, Lifetouch.

Gates opened at 5:30 p.m., but the dinner started at 6 p.m. and gates closed at 7:15 p.m. with the event ending at 10 in the evening. Dinner was served within this time with boat rides opening at 7 pm. Royalty and Diamond of the Season crowning took place at 9:30 in the evening with Stephen Moreno and Paige Munoz being crowned as prom royalty, and Nathaniel Mortimer being crowned Diamond of the Season. Diamond of the Season was awarded by Principal Linda Laettner to the attendee who wore the most on-theme attire.
