Warriors meet the Grizzlies

The Fresno High Warrior Marching Band gets invited to many events during the year. Recently, the Warriors were invited to a Grizzlies’ game to play the Star-Spangled Banner.  

All 50-plus members attended the game on August 29, 2025, at Chukchansi Park. The band always gets access to this because on the days leading up to the event, they sell Grizzlies tickets that help fund upcoming band events and competition entrance fees. “We enjoy being out here, especially if it’s benefitting us,” shared Naomi Rodriguez, a 4-year band member. Many of the Band members commented that they also enjoy going for the foods and mini games they have at the park.  

Throughout the day, the band was filled with more energy than they knew what to do with while watching their home team play against the 66’ers. After the Grizzlies won the game, both the band and crowd roared and cheered while fireworks exploded into the sky.
