Restaraunt Review: Di Cicco’s Italian Restaurant

by Michael Garcia

For this restaurant review I have decided to visit Di Cicco’s Italian restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately impressed by the unique atmosphere. The decor followed a vintage Italian theme complete with warm dim lighting, and it struck a nice balance not being too bright or too dark. Furthermore, the overall noise level stayed at a low and medium level, not becoming too obnoxious and allowed an enjoyable experience.

As soon as I was seated, I was served complimentary French bread with butter. The bread itself was soft and delicious for my appetizer I ordered the Sampler Platter ($14.99). It included garlic bread, mozzarella cheese sticks, and hot wings. The wait time for my appetizer was short and everything about the food was satisfying. Although I would prefer a bit more of a garlic flavor in my garlic bread though the warmness of the bread made up for it. The Sampler Platter was a great appetizer for my main course. I chose a large pizza ($18.99) half cheese pizza and half pepperoni pizza; however, my server told me about a special that reduced the price to $14.99. The pizza looked amazing. It had good cheese and sauce when I bit into it, unfortunately the overall flavor was bland, and it lacked taste compared to other pizzas I had.

Overall, Di Cicco’s Italian restaurant delivered a positive dining experience with great service, and an inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious with my only real disappointment being the pizza a little more seasoning or more bold flavor aspect for improvement. I recommend Di Cicco’s Italian restaurant for its food, and for its atmosphere/decor the restaurants serve as a great dining area.
