Native American Heritage Month

November 2025 is dedicated to celebrating Native American Heritage Month, a time to acknowledge the rich history, vibrant culture, and significant contributions of Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. Be sure to mark your calendars for November 15, when we encourage everyone to #RockYourMocs and proudly display tribal heritage. Additionally, on November 19, Red Shawl Day will focus on raising awareness about the critical issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit individuals. Let the honoring commence!Across the nation, various events and activities will take place to bring communities together in celebration and reflection. Museums and cultural centers will host special exhibitions showcasing traditional arts, crafts, and storytelling, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse traditions and histories of Indigenous peoples.
