The Secret Garden

Fresno High Prom was held at Wolf Lakes on Saturday May 7. This year, like every other year, students had to get cleared to attend Prom. Seniors had to make sure they didn’t have an outstanding Senior Bill. Tickets were sold during lunch and sometimes after school. Single tickets were $80, and couples were $150. Tickets were non-refundable and had to be purchased by April 29.
Students were allowed to enter “The Secret Garden” at 5:30 pm but were warned that the doors would close exactly at 7:30 pm. But due to a large car accident nearby, the admin allowed for an exception to the rule because it took longer to get to Wolf Lakes than expected.
Dinner was served around 6-7pm, and most attendees felt it was alright, but the highlight of the meal was the ice cream and brownie for dessert. Students were also able to take a free boat ride around the lake. Amirah Myles and Joesph Gamber were this year’s Prom Royalty.
