Cookies n’ Cram

by Kailey Espinoza

On the last Monday before Winter Break, December 12, Fresno High’s ASB and former Link Crew members decided to host Cookies and Cram.

Cookies and Cram is an annual event for Fresno High School’s new freshmen to partner with their former Link Crew leaders and study for their finals. Although, this event has been the first since the Covid epidemic. Cookies and Cram is “a great opportunity to connect with other students as well as being able to see different perspectives of a subject,” said Melissa Quintero.

Cookies and Cram was a genuine event to build stronger connections, hosted and promoted by Fresno High’s Campus Culture Director, Mrs. Bangerter. Cookies and hot chocolate were given to those who participated while deep into their studies. Although many weren’t in attendance this year, this is only the start of bringing back something that may seem new now and once was embedded into the school’s culture.
